Another Melody

First Impression: At first I see your layout and think simple and bright which isn't too great. But then when I start looking at it more I get used to it and then when I went over your links I was a lot more impressed. The rollover is really cool. Bright is normally a big no no but you made it work in this layout. I think it's because there's not too much brightness there's just the right amount so good job! One last thing I notice is that because of your text the sidebar goes horizontal and I know mine does now too so I'm sounding like a hypocrite but I just think you should change that so there's no horizontal sidebar.

Content: First I went to see your icons and I didn't like them much. Some of the worded ones are okay but I didn't really like any of the lost ones. So I think sometime you should try and replace some maybe but it's up to you. I also saw the textures and they're really good! I saw that the textures take a little while to load and that's not so bad, but I'd like to see more of these if it's possible cause they are seriously good. I think for the scans, which are quite, you should have a preview of each one on the scans page so people don't have to click all of them to find one they want. In the "Creating subdomains in Cpanel" tutorial all the pictures are not there so either put them or take away the img. The tutorials are good and I love the article about over-edited pictures, it's very funny!

Layout/Coding: I probably said too much in my first impressions but anyway... This is one of those layouts that grows on me I think and that's not a bad thing. It's better that than a one minute layout. Like I said earlier I love how you made these bright colors work so well, so congrats! Your text is very easy to read and nice, don't change it :). I also notice something tiny which is that the sidebar isn't quite wide and to the right enough if you can see what I mean. It seems as though the content part has a left padding of about 2 or 3 pixels but the sidebar has a right padding of about 5. Anyway not a huge deal. I submitted your site to browsershots.org and I didn't get many results but the ones that I did get were very good, so good job with the coding.

Updates/Blog: Your blogging I think you do very well. You blog often and it's actually quite interesting to read so I give you three thumbs up over here :). However I don't feel you update too often which isn't too too bad. I mean it's good to have a real life, right? But, no I don't feel like you update enough although you are doing a lot better than some people.

Conclusion: All in all I really like your website. My main points are: Fix the text for your affiliates and hostees so that it doesn't create a horizontal sidebar. Fix the creating subdomains in cpanel tutorial. Make more content in general. That's about all I can think of. So great job and I hope it wasn't too harsh or was it harsh at all? Well I really hoped it helped and keep up the great work. This doesn't really go in another category but I just read your footer and it's hilarious, you should deffinetly keep it!!
